Being an interior designer has always been my passion 

I planned to pursue interior design after high school, but life took me in a different direction. Instead, I earned my B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, married an Air Force officer, and homeschooled my kids before earning my certification in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. Since then, I have started my business and completed a full home renovation with my husband.

I use every ounce of my education, experiences, and skills in my design business

The detail needed to be a great designer was acquired through my B.A. in Mathematics, which I have been so thankful for on many occasions when exact numbers and measurements were needed. Moving around the country as a military family gave me invaluable insight into the many problems we face with decorating and organizing our homes. Homeschooling my kids was a life lesson in itself, from time management to organization and how to gain a tremendous amount of patience when life doesn't go as expected. My husband's multiple deployments and my son's Crohn's Disease created perseverance in me to keep moving forward despite difficult times, and my certification gave me a skillset to understand interior design at a deeper level. I also cannot understate the education I received through our home renovation and remodel projects.  I rely on all these experiences as they have given me a unique perspective and understanding of the variety of issues that directly relate to interior design, family, and life.

I believe a well-organized, beautiful home is valuable for everyone

I've seen the impact that good design has had on my family. Spaces that rejuvenate and inspire enable us to pursue our passions and live a more balanced life. This truth has become increasingly apparent to me since I became a professional interior designer. Well-designed and well-organized spaces are an important backdrop to thriving families, work, and life.

I love renovating, remodeling, and designing spaces that focus on timeless finishes and incorporate fresh and modern furnishings to create enduring and inviting interiors. However, the most important part of what I do is being able to positively impact the lives of those I am fortunate enough to work for by improving the way they live through my designs and our partnership.
