Our Walk & Talk Consultation is a highly interactive consultation that focuses on identifying strategic changes for every room in your house.

During our Walk & Talk, we identify first impressions, what to troubleshoot and eliminate, how to emphasize the positive and downplay the negative, what to invest in, the best furniture layout and updates that can be done to improve each space.

This consultation is great for an entire home refresh, preparing your home to sell or moving into a new home. We help you identify quick fixes that make a significant impact on the overall look and feel of your home.

This consultation includes our exclusive Design Consultation Packet, featuring detailed designer notes from our session, inspiring room concepts that reflect the changes we discussed, and tailored style recommendations to address your top three design challenges—helping you create the biggest impact in your home refresh.

2. FURNISHINGS & FINISHES

Our Furnishings & Finishes Consultation is designed to help you refine the look of one or two rooms in your home by streamlining product and paint selections.

For furnishings, we evaluate your existing pieces and identify what to purchase to create a polished, cohesive space. By considering size, color, and budget, we set clear parameters to guide your shopping, empowering you to confidently make decisions on your own.

3. SPACE PLANNING & CONSTRUCTION

Our Space Planning & Construction Consultation is tailored to help you optimize furniture layouts and plan for kitchen or bathroom renovations.

During the consultation, we’ll take detailed measurements and explore practical solutions to maximize your space.

For Space Planning, we address challenges like awkward layouts, furniture placement, and how to divide larger areas, such as basements or open rooms, into functional, multi-purpose spaces.

For Construction Projects, we identify key areas affected by your renovation and discuss creative, viable options for reimagining the space—whether you’re planning a DIY project or preparing to hire a contractor, the insight you gain will help you plan an effective strategy for your project.

What is the Entry Level Design timeline?

Our service begins once the Discovery Call is complete and the investment fee is paid. From there, we move at your pace, with three steps to complete your service.

Step 1: To help us prepare effectively, you’ll fill out a questionnaire about your project and share inspiration photos, along with photos of your space.

Step 2: Schedule and complete the consultation. Scheduling depends on both our availability, but we aim to book it within a week of the Discovery Call.

Step 3: After the consultation, you’ll receive your personalized Design Consultation Packet within 3 business days, complete with all the insights and resources we discussed.

Is there a minimum budget for Entry Level Design?

One of the best things about our Entry Level Design service is that there’s no minimum budget requirement. We work with whatever amount you’re comfortable spending and tailor our recommendations accordingly.

Budgeting is the foundation of the design process—it ensures your goals align with realistic expectations. Many clients struggle because they’re unfamiliar with the true costs of sourcing materials, delivery, and installation. That’s where we come in. We educate you on what’s achievable within your budget and provide clarity from the very beginning.

What makes your Entry Level Design different from other consultations?

Our Entry Level Design offers exceptional value by delivering expert guidance and actionable solutions in a short amount of time at a very reasonable price.

While some interior designers offer free or low-cost consultations, these are often introductory meetings designed to onboard full-service clients. In contrast, our Entry Level Design caters to those who aren’t seeking a Mid Level or Full Service Design. Instead, we focus entirely on providing practical solutions you can implement independently.

Additionally, you’ll receive a Design Consultation Packet summarizing our notes from the meeting and offering tailored resources aligned with your consultation’s focus.

If, after your consultation, you choose to explore Mid Level or Full Service Design, we’d be happy to discuss how we can continue transforming your space.

Can you help with DIY projects?

Absolutely! We love supporting DIY projects. My husband and I personally took on a lot of DIY work in our own home, in addition to working alongside various contractors throughout the process.

While our Entry Level Design service doesn't include recommendations for specific trades, our hands-on experience has been invaluable in shaping my approach as an interior designer. I’m always more than happy to share what we've learned to help you navigate your own project with confidence.

What should I expect during the consultation?

When we arrive for your consultation, we’ll already have a clear understanding of your goals and vision, thanks to our Complimentary Discovery Call and the detailed questionnaire you complete beforehand.

Our 90-minute consultation is thoughtfully structured into three key parts: Discussion, Exploration, and Solutions.

Discussion: This is your time to walk us through the space, share your insights, and clarify your priorities. We'll ask targeted questions to ensure we fully understand what you want to focus on during our time together.

Exploration: This highly collaborative phase is where ideas come to life. Together, we’ll explore various options, troubleshoot potential challenges, and pinpoint what to refine, eliminate, or prioritize in your project.

Solutions: We’ll wrap up by crafting a tailored plan that fits your budget, aligns with your style, and captures your vision for the space.

Following the consultation, you’ll receive your personalized Design Consultation Packet within two business days. This exclusive resource includes a detailed summary of our discussion, actionable recommendations, and additional ideas to enhance your project.

What should I expect after the consultation?

After your Entry Level Design consultation, we’ll compile all of our notes and ideas into a personalized Design Consultation Packet just for you.

This packet serves as your ultimate resource for your project, summarizing everything we discussed during the consultation. It also includes additional resources, ideas, and recommendations to help ensure your project is a success.
